Style and Substance vs Destruction of Democracy

Here is my way of wrapping up a week that I must describe as celebratory. About time!
Future letters from me are not going to be as cheery and pleasant. I am going to ask us some tough questions. But for now, I believe it is important to take our victories and be very grateful!

Lately, I have found the Guardian to be a more reliable “newspaper”. It seems to avoid the click bait headlines of the NYTimes and the Washington Post. Mostly, solid reporting. Here is a piece that followed last week’s legendary debate between a master prosecutor and a demented blow hard.

Let us not get cocky or complacent. But I recommend taking a few minutes to celebrate just a little.

And then, even more importantly, if you haven’t seen clips of VP Harris in a follow up rally in North Carolina, please do. I see and hear such energy and joy. I believe that her positivity and presentation will continue to propel the campaign to victory.
